National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a notification dated 07 July 2026, providing another chance to NEET UG 2026 aspirants to either confirm, amend, or update the information of their bank account details for the refund of the NEET UG 2026 exam fee.
This update is crucial for all those NEET UG 2026 applicants who took the exam on 03 May 2026 and still haven’t updated their bank details at the official NEET portal.
What is the reason behind this notice by NTA?
Previously, NTA had announced a notice on 30 June 2026 asking the aspirants to verify or update their bank details.
As per the latest announcement, a total number of 10,28,223 aspirants have already verified and updated their bank details, and NTA has also started the process of refund of exam fee of such aspirants.
Last Date to Update Bank Details
Candidates must complete the bank account confirmation or update process by:
14 July 2026, up to 11:50 PM
Students are advised not to wait until the last moment, as incorrect or delayed bank details may create issues in receiving the refund.

The update process will be available after completing two-factor authentication.
Documents / Details Required
Candidates need to carefully enter or confirm their bank account details. NTA has also mentioned that candidates may upload a cancelled cheque, if they wish, to ensure accuracy of the bank account information.
Before submitting, students should check:
Bank account number
IFSC code
Account holder name
Bank name and branch
Cancelled cheque, if available
Even a small mistake in bank details can delay the refund.

The students should make use of the authorized NEET portal and refrain from using any unauthorized links or third-party sites that claim to provide the refund facility.
NTA will never ask candidates to provide confidential information through unsolicited calls or messages. Candidates should log in through the authorized portal alone.
