NRI Seats in Govt & Private Medical Colleges
Haryana is another major state for NRI admission in MBBS in Haryana’s Govt Medical Colleges and Private Medical Colleges. There are good number of MBBS Seats reserved in Haryana Govt Medical colleges and Private Medical Colleges and in Private Universities delivering MBBS Programs.
NRI/Children of NRI who belong to the state of Haryana or NRI/Children of NRI who belong to an Indian State other than Haryana and also the NRI Sponsored students are allowed for MBBS admission in Haryana under NRI Quota.
The important points related MBBS Seats under NRI Quota in Haryana:

15% seats out of 50% Management Seats are reserved under NRI Quota.

Registration cum counseling fee of Rs. 10000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) (Non-Refundable) shall be charged from NRI Students.

ELIGIBILITY |
| 1. Only NEET qualified candidates shall be eligible under NRI category. All admission under NRI |
| category seats shall be as per merit of NEET. |
| 2. PIOs/OCIs and Foreign Nationals who are NEET qualified can also apply under the NRI |
| category. |
| The preference for admission under NRI category shall be considered as under:- |
| (i) Actual NRIs/OCIs/PIOs candidates who originally belonged to the State of Haryana. |
| (ii) Children of NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to Haryana State. |
| (iii) Actual NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to an Indian State and Union Territories |
| other than Haryana. |
| (iv) Children of NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to an Indian State and Union |
| Territories other than Haryana. |
| (v) Real brother and sister of the candidate. |
| (vi) If the first-degree relation of the student is NRI and residing abroad and the candidate fulfils |
| the following condition:- |
| a) He should be the nearest relation. |
| b) In the definition of nearest relation, candidate having following blood relation:- |
| a) Real Brother and sister of father i.e. real uncle and real aunt. |
| b) Real brother and Sister of mother i.e. real maternal uncle and maternal aunt. |
| c) Father and mother of father i.e. grand father and grandmother. |
| d) Father and mother of mother i.e. maternal grandfather and maternal grandmother. |
| e) First degree-paternal and maternal cousins. |
| f) Such person should be NRI. |
| c) Such persons should ordinarily be residing abroad. |
| d) Such person should have looked after such student as the guardian of the student and |
| evidence to that effect must have been produced by such person. |
| (vii) Foreign Nationals shall be considered for admission under NRI quota after exhausting the |
| list of NRIs/ PIOs/OCIs. |
| NOTE:- |
| * The NRI students will have to give a Bank Guarantee/Surety Bond for the balance of fee, if they |
| opt to pay the fee in installment as provided. |
| * Any seats remaining vacant under NRI Category shall be filled up from the NEET qualified |
| eligible foreign nationals. However, if the seats still remain vacant these shall be converted to |
| Open Categoryseats in Government/Government Aided Medical Colleges and Management |
| Category seats in Private Colleges. |

Documents Required for MBBS Admission under NRI Quota:
- Equivalency Certificate issued by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, if applicable.
- Conversion Certificate of grading to percentage of marks, if applicable.
- Other Miscellaneous docs.

Generally, Government Medical Colleges seats of NRI Quota get filled upto preference (iv) and Preference (v) students, which means sponsor category get chance only on the Private Colleges seats of NRI Category.
