Admission Process
- The Recognized Medical Colleges in India are responsible for providing medical education. The Medical Council of India Act requires all schools to be officially recognized. Medicine and surgery are included in the MBBS degree. Medical colleges are educational facilities that include the MBBS curriculum in their curricula.
- Exams for admission to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET), and the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) are all available in India.
- To be eligible for MBBS programs in India, applicants must have scored at least 50% on the PCB portion of the Class 12 test (for the general category) or 40% (for the Backward Category).
- All applicants must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admissions year.
