🗓️ UP NEET PG 2025 Stray Vacancy Round Schedule
The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Uttar Pradesh has released the official schedule for the stray vacancy round of NEET PG 2025 counselling.
This round gives one last opportunity to candidates who couldn’t secure a seat in earlier rounds.
| Activity | Dates (2025) |
|---|---|
| Fresh Registration & Document Upload | 11 November – 14 November |
| Payment of Security Money | 11 November – 14 November |
| Merit List Publication | 14 November |
| Choice Filling Window | 14 November – 17 November |
| Result Declaration | 17 November |
| Joining / Admission Formalities | 18 November – 20 November |
📋 Important Instructions for Candidates
-
Fresh Registration Allowed:
Students who missed previous rounds can register again between 11–14 November. -
Security Money:
You must pay the security deposit during registration. Without payment, your application will not be considered valid. -
Choice Filling & Locking:
The choice filling window opens on 14 November and closes on 17 November.
Make sure to lock your choices before the deadline, as there will be no automatic locking. -
Result & Reporting:
The seat allotment result will be announced on 17 November.
All selected candidates must download their allotment letter and report to the allotted college between 18–20 November 2025. -
Non-Joining Penalty:
⚠️ If you do not join after seat allotment, not only will your security money be forfeited, but you will also be barred from participating in next year’s UP NEET PG counselling.
This rule is strict and non-negotiable.
🩺 Why the Stray Vacancy Round is Critical
-
It’s the final opportunity to secure a seat in Uttar Pradesh’s PG medical colleges.
-
Vacant seats from earlier rounds — including private, deemed, and government quota seats — are often filled here.
-
Cut-offs usually drop during the stray round, increasing chances even for candidates with lower NEET PG scores.
-
However, deadlines are short and compliance is mandatory — missing one step (like document upload or payment) may lead to disqualification.
💡 MCMF Expert Tip
To ensure smooth participation:
-
Keep all documents scanned (NEET PG scorecard, MBBS degree, internship certificate, photo ID, etc.).
-
Pay your security deposit well before the deadline.
-
Fill choices strategically — mix high-demand and moderate-demand colleges to maximize chances.
Our MCMF counselling experts can help you create a personalized choice-filling list based on your score, category, and budget.
