All NEET qualified candidates applying in the ‘Open General Category’, ‘Category Christian Minority with Service Commitment’ ‘SC/ST from Punjab’ ‘BC/OBC from Punjab’ and ‘NRI Category’ are required to apply to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (State Counselling Authority), as per the details which will be given on their website www.bfuhs.ac.in , by the due date.

In addition, Candidates applying in the category ‘Christian Minority with Service Commitment’ are further advised to also apply to CMC Ludhiana before the due date and appear for a Bible Test (Online form will be available on www.cmcludhiana.in) and submit a copy of their submitted application of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences on the online portal and to the Registrar, CMC Ludhiana along with their Church Membership Certificate, Baptism Certificate, Domicile certificate and Letter of Service Commitment from Body/Church of the CMC Ludhiana Society, signed by the Authorized Signatory only. Christian Minority Candidates with Service Commitment will serve in the Mission Hospitals of the CMC Ludhiana Society for a minimum period of two years for MBBS and one year for BDS. They are to submit the sworn affidavit of Service duly notarized at the time of admission. It is mandatory for all Christian applicants in the “Christian Minority with Service Commitment Category’ to appear for and pass a Bible test for considering them under the category. Christian applicants who fail in the Bible test will not be considered under this category. Bible test dates will be informed on the College website. Candidates applying under Christian Minority Category should apply to one of the authorized members ofthe Christian Medical College Ludhiana Society for endorsement for this category. The list of members ofthe society is given in this link. The Letter of Service Commitment, duly signed by the Authorized Signatory should mandatorily reach Office of the Registrar, CMC Ludhiana by 4 th May 2024*.

NRI candidates are advised to apply to Baba Farid University of health Sciences (BFUHS) through their website and obtain Eligibility Certificate. They are also required to submit to CMC Ludhiana a copy of their application to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), proof of NRI and Eligibility certificate through email at registrar@cmcludhiana.in

The distribution of Seats and other relevant information will be available in the University website and in the UG Information Bulletin – 2024 which will be put up after the BFUHS Prospectus is published.
