Karnataka Latest Update 2024 - SUBMISSION OF NEW APPLICATION FOR UGNEET 2024 (WHO HAVE NOT REGISTERED FOR UGCET - 2024)

Admission to MBBS and BDS and Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy (AYUSH) Degree courses for the year 2024-25 in the State of Karnataka

NOTIFICATION-2-Submission of new application for the candidates who have not registered for UGCET-2024

As per the directions of the Government, KEA is inviting applications online for admissions to Medical and Dental and AYUSH courses for the year 2024-25. The candidates who have scored more than or equal to the prescribed minimum score in UGNEET-2024 only are eligible to register and apply online for UG Medical and Dental and Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy degree courses for the year 2024-25.

Please note that SC/ST/OBC eligibility criteria are applicable to Karnataka SC/ST/OBC candidates only.

Candidates who have not registered for UGCET-2024 but qualified in UGNEET-2024 have to submi application online and pay the fees to become eligible for admission to Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses by selecting "UGNEET-2024 new registration" link in the KEA portal from 11.00 am on 07-08-2024 to 09-08-2024 - 11.59 pm.

Before registering through online for admission to Medical and Dental courses in the state of Karnataka, applicants are hereby informed to read the Information Bulletin UGNEET-2024 and understand the eligibility conditions, classification of seats (different types of category of seats) and eligibility to claim such seats which are hosted on the KEA Website http://kea.kar.nic.in for the information of the candidates.

INSTRUCTIONS TO NON-KARNATAKA CANDIDATES

Non-Karnataka candidates who have qualified in UGNEET 2024, they have to first register through online in KEA

Web-portal (if not registered earlier in KEA), enter all the details, and pay the registration fee. Further they have to enter the 12th standard marks details and upload in PDF format in the same web portal. They need not appear for verification of documents.

However, OCI/PIO/NRI / Foreign Nationals and if any non-Karnataka candidates eligible to claim NRI Ward, Religious Minority or eligible to claim under category-2 to category-8 in St. John Medical College, Bangalore, then they have to appear for verification of documents at KEA, Bangalore on the specified dates.

NOTE: As per NMC, New Delhi letter dated 24-07-2023; all the rounds of counseling including Stray Vacancy Round will be conducted only by KEA in online mode, all the UG NEET 2024 qualified candidates are hereby advised to register online and complete the document verification process in KEA to become eligible for admission to UG Medical and Dental Courses in the State of Karnataka
