This official notification allows students to submit an affidavit + supporting documents instead of an immediate bank guarantee — ensuring no seat is lost due to delays.

Chhattisgarh NEET MBBS counselling committee has issued a new notification (No. 1611/225) providing temporary relief for bank guarantee submission. Students who are allotted seats in Round 4 but cannot arrange the bank guarantee immediately can now secure their admission through an affidavit and supporting bank documents.

Why Bank Guarantee is a Problem in Many States?

Several states in India ask students to submit a bank guarantee for 3–4 years of MBBS fees.
The issue is:

• The bank guarantee process starts only after seat allotment

• But allotment to reporting window is very short

• Banks normally take 5–7 working days to issue a guarantee

• Result: Many students lose their seat just because BG doesn’t come in time

This has been a long-standing challenge for thousands of students every year.

📌 Chhattisgarh’s New Relief Notification (16/11/225)

The Chhattisgarh counselling committee has issued a big relief for students in Round 4.

You can now submit an AFFIDAVIT instead of an immediate bank guarantee.

Along with the affidavit, you need to attach the following:

✔️ Required Documents (Temporary Submission)

1. Affidavit (शपथ पत्र)
   Confirming that the bank guarantee is under process.

2. Copy of Cheque
   Linked to the account from which the FD / BG will be processed.

3. Copy of Fixed Deposit (FD)
   The FD that will be used as security for the bank guarantee.

4. Demand Draft (if applicable)
   If the bank asks for it during BG processing.

5. Bank Certificate Stating BG Under Process
   The most important document.
   The bank must give a certificate confirming:

   “Bank guarantee application is under process and will be issued on or before the mentioned date.”

6. If the certificate is not available:
   Any official bank document showing that you have applied and the process has started.

📅 Deadline & Reporting Rules

🟡 For Round 4 (Stray Vacancy Round):

• Last date for admission:
  17 November 2025, 5:00 PM

• Last date to submit affidavit + BG documents:
  18 November 2025

This means even after reporting, you get one extra day to submit your affidavit and supporting bank documents.

⚠️ Important – If You Don’t Submit These Documents

If you fail to submit:

• Affidavit

• Bank certificate / proof of BG under process

Then your admission WILL be cancelled by the college.

This is strictly mentioned in the notification.
